Position Title:
ASSET SPECIALIST Location : ABILENE, TX FLSA Class : NON-EXEMPT Reports To : SITE ASSET COORDINATOR Position Summary : The Asset Specialist is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting all equipment and asset deliveries to the construction yard, ensuring accuracy and condition upon arrival. This role manages inventory receipts, coordinates logistics, and organizes the staging and movement of assets to construction sites or laydown yards. The Asset Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining asset visibility, accountability, and efficient material flow to support construction operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Track and document the delivery, staging, and installation of high-value power generation equipment, maintaining complete inventory accuracy during high-volume site mobilization. Manage asset readiness, staging, and logistics for greenfield energy infrastructure, ensuring power generation assets are inspected, positioned, and prepared for commissioning in alignment with accelerated data center construction timelines. Responsible to direct deliveries to laydown yards for inspections and unloading assets Operating forklift (training to be provided) Other Requirements: Minimum 1-2+ years related experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry or construction logistics High School diploma, skilled labor certificate or equivalent Willingness to work in exposure to extreme temperatures, wind, precipitation Ability to stoop, sit, stand, or be on their feet for extended period of times Able to lift 50 pounds up to 10 times per shift Valid Driver’s License Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work 14 days straight with 7 day offs.
