
Senior Cloud Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to help the organization transform to the cloud and optimize cloud solutions within the Cloud Foundation project. This position focuses on designing and setting up governance structures, operating models, resiliency strategies, and monitoring frameworks to make the cloud operational at scale, secure, and cost-effective. The Cloud Architect will work closely with cloud engineering, security, operations, and business teams to design and implement cloud best practices and create clearly defined responsibility and ownership models for individual areas.
Mission
Create and document RACI matrices for cloud services and define shared responsibilities. Design and gradually improve the cloud operating model, including roles, processes, and escalation procedures. Implement governance frameworks for cloud usage, cost management, and regulatory compliance. Ensure cloud practices are aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Design and document a Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy. Establish policies for data backup and recovery, including RPO and RTO targets. Prepare and implement a monitoring and alerting strategy. Define standards for logging, metrics, and tracing. Participate in the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards. Review solution proposals and provide architectural recommendations. Act as an advisor to technical teams and project managers. Contribute to the development of cloud roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills
Approximately 3-6 years of experience in cloud architecture or in a senior cloud engineering role. Very good understanding of the AWS platform. Practical experience with the design and definition of: RACI models of responsibilities Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity (DR/BCP) strategies monitoring and oversight frameworks Good understanding of cloud security and compliance principles. Experience with Infrastructure as Code approach, for example using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep. Ability to create high-quality technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Very good English, including the ability to present technical topics. An advantage
