Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Sales Engineer to provide administrative and operational support to the engineering sales team. This role ensures smooth execution of projects, accurate documentation, and effective communication between production and engineering. The Associate Sales Engineer also supports proposal and submittal processes while helping capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Assist Sales Engineers in planning, organizing, and executing projects
Serve as a key point of contact for the production team to relay information to engineering
Review project drawings for completeness, accuracy, and required details
Assist in preparing proposals and submittal packages
Gather lessons learned from various teams to support continuous improvement efforts
Review job files for completeness, including BOMs, drawings, and vendor specifications
Support engineers in implementing design changes or upgrades on the production floor
Collect and analyze production data to identify inefficiencies or defects
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in progress in Engineering or a STEM-related field
0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or construction
Strong technical background and analytical skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Willingness to learn manufacturing processes, sales operations, and customer industries
Preferred Skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges
