Overview We are seeking a Sales Engineer I to provide technical support and promote sales of complex manufacturing products and solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to understand project specifications and collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality custom products.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver technical quotations, proposals, and product configurations

Create submittals for customers, including drawings, cut sheets, and supporting materials

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of designs and modifications

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and internal stakeholders

Support Project Managers throughout the manufacturing process to ensure on-time delivery

Attend product training on power systems, controls, and industry standards

Build familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical/scientific field

0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or engineering support

Basic understanding of electrical systems, generators, or mechanical power systems

Willingness to learn manufacturing and sales processes, as well as customer industries

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Microsoft Excel

Preferred Skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Technical aptitude for understanding complex systems and designs
