4:30 p.m. Duration: Temporary assignment (anticipated 3 months; potential extension based on performance and business need) Pay: $23.00

$26.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview A growing organization in the medical device industry is seeking a Customer Service Representative

Reporting Specialist to support sales reporting, order processing, and customer service operations. This role requires strong Excel skills, including the ability to build and troubleshoot formulas and pivot tables, along with experience supporting reporting functions. The position will also assist with order entry, EDI-related processes, and customer communication to ensure smooth operational workflows. This is a fast-moving opportunity, and the team is looking to fill the role quickly.

Key Responsibilities Generate and maintain sales reporting and forecasting reports Support U.S. and international sales reporting and forecasting activities Create and maintain reports on open, shipped, pending, and in-progress orders Build and maintain Excel reports using formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools Troubleshoot and resolve issues with reports, formulas, or data discrepancies Ensure all orders are entered accurately and processed in a timely manner Verify order details including product description, quantity, pricing, and order identification numbers Provide shipping notifications and order updates to customers Respond to customer service inquiries via phone and email Support sales teams by fielding incoming sales support calls Perform general order entry tasks regardless of order source Manage and respond to customer service email requests Generate add-on sales opportunities when appropriate Process QA replacement requests in a timely manner Assist with the completion and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports

Qualifications Associates degree or at least 3 years of related experience in customer service, reporting, data entry, or order processing preferred Strong Microsoft Excel experience, including creating formulas, pivot tables, and troubleshooting report issues 12 years of EDI experience is a plus Familiarity with EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce or TrueCommerce preferred Experience in the medical device, healthcare, or related industry is a plus

Required Skills Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially with reporting and data accuracy Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with direction from multiple stakeholders Ability to troubleshoot practical problems in situations with varying processes or limited standardization Professional communication skills when interacting with customers and internal teams Adaptability and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and business practices Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to adjust schedules when business needs require Work Environment This role is fully onsite in San Diego, CA and requires regular collaboration with internal teams including sales, customer service, and operations to support reporting accuracy and order fulfillment processes.
