Join a leading financial services organization in Minneapolis supporting mortgage clients through high-level customer service, account administration, and Excel-based reporting. Job Description We are seeking an Account Associate to support external mortgage clients and internal business partners. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, assist a Relationship Manager, and ensure mortgage documents and collateral files meet strict client criteria. This position combines client interaction, financial review, reporting, and administrative accuracyideal for someone with strong customer service experience and working Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables). Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for mortgage clients and internal business partners Communicate daily via phone and email to explain reports, resolve inquiries, and support account needs Handle account setup, maintenance, and ongoing oversight in accordance with policies and regulations Create and review Excel reports (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) summarizing document and file status Assist Relationship Managers with research and issue resolution Generate certifications, trust receipts, and other confidential documentation Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors as needed Provide support on larger team projects and initiatives Tools Used Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) Outlook for client communication and task management Word for professional and confidential correspondence Must-Have Qualifications 2+ years of experience in financial services or professional customer service OR a Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience Minimum 6+ months of Excel experience (must know VLOOKUPs & pivot tables) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes Preferred Qualifications 6+ months of experience working with mortgage documents Experience supporting account administration or document review Familiarity with financial, banking, or lending environments Work Environment, Location & Compensation Employment Type: Full-time, 1-year contract with potential for extension or future hire based on business needs and performance (not guaranteed) Location: Minneapolis, MN Schedule: Initial onsite training, transitioning to a hybrid schedule after proven performance Hours: 8:00 AM
4:30 PM Work Setting: Cubicle environment Dress Code: Business casual Compensation: $20.00/hr Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
