Role Overview
You will own media relations, podcast booking, press releases, messaging, and a predictable outreach pipeline
What You'll Do
Own media strategy and narrative positioning across initiatives and brands
Build and run a media and podcast pipeline (targets, outreach, follow-ups, booking, prep)
Write and ship press releases, pitches, executive bios, talking points, FAQs, and backgrounders
Maintain a living press kit (boilerplates, headshots, approved brand language, proof points)
Coordinate with SEO/Content to turn PR wins into durable online assets and backlinks
Track results with weekly reporting: pitches sent, responses, bookings, placements, next steps
Partner with leadership to translate complex initiatives into clear, credible, high-integrity stories
Weekly Deliverables (Simple + Non-Negotiable)
Updated PR Pipeline Tracker (targets, status, next action, date)
Weekly Outreach Summary: volume, response rate, bookings, placements
1-2 new story angles aligned to RTG initiatives and current market narratives
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
Days 1-30: messaging framework plus press kit finalized; media/podcast list built; outreach cadence launched
Days 31-60: first bookings and placements; repeatable pitch themes; improved visibility for RTG initiatives
Days 61-90: consistent pipeline producing interviews/mentions monthly; launch playbooks for major announcements
Requirements
3-6+ years in PR/media relations with proof of placements and/or bookings
Exceptional writing (pitches, releases, executive positioning)
Strong project management and follow-through (pipeline discipline is essential)
Comfort working directly with leadership and cross-functional teams
Nice-to-Haves
Podcast booking experience (founder/executive)
Familiarity with tech, AI, cybersecurity, or multi-brand organizations
Understanding of how PR supports search footprint and authority
