A national mission-driven organization is seeking an experienced Website Design & Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of its primary website and campaign landing pages. This mid-level role requires a professional who can confidently own both visual design and technical execution to deliver high-impact, conversion-focused digital experiences. About the Role This role involves leading the design, development, and optimization of the organization’s primary website and campaign landing pages. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain the organization’s primary website and campaign landing pages. Translate brand strategy into high-performing, conversion-focused web experiences. Coordinate with developers to execute larger website updates and technical enhancements. Manage tracking implementation across ad platforms, analytics tools, and purchasing software to ensure accurate data reporting. Identify opportunities to improve user experience and optimize customer journeys. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently. Manage WordPress infrastructure, including themes, plugins, updates, and custom code. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to launch digital campaigns. Analyze website and campaign performance, providing actionable insights to leadership. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in website design and front-end development. Strong portfolio demonstrating both design capabilities and production-ready websites. Proven graphic design experience including layout, typography, branding systems, and digital asset creation. Advanced proficiency in WordPress (custom themes, plugins, troubleshooting, and site structure management). Experience building responsive, mobile-first, conversion-focused landing pages. Experience implementing tracking scripts (e.g., Meta Pixel, GTM, GA4) in collaboration with marketing teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 lbs if needed. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required. Preferred Skills Experience with Squarespace site builds and updates. Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and user journey mapping. Technical SEO knowledge (site speed optimization, schema, Core Web Vitals). Experience integrating websites with CRM or marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). Familiarity with hosting environments and deployment workflows.
