Responsibilities
Design HVAC and plumbing systems from concept through construction. Perform load calculations and equipment selection. Develop system layouts and construction documents. Coordinate designs with project managers and other disciplines. Support projects during construction phases.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience designing mechanical systems for buildings. Strong understanding of HVAC system design, load calculations, and equipment selection. Working knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including ASHRAE, IMC, and IPC. Proficiency with mechanical analysis and design software such as Trane TRACE 700 or similar.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Familiarity with specification software such as SpecLink+.
