About the Role
Uber Direct is transforming the way local businesses offer delivery by enabling brands to leverage Uber’s fleet for on-demand, same-day, scheduled, and next-day fulfillment directly through their own websites, apps, and ecommerce platforms. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment and are motivated by exceeding quota and scaling impact.
What you'll do
Own the full Uber Direct sales cycle for SMB merchants, from discovery and solutioning through negotiation and close
Partner closely with Eats Account Managers to generate outbound opportunities within their managed portfolios
Identify merchant pain points and position Uber Direct as a growth driver and operational solution
Deliver compelling product demos and tailored proposals (pricing, decks, light RFP responses as needed)
Drive high-velocity deal execution with strong pipeline management and accurate forecasting
Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Operations, and Product to ensure smooth onboarding and successful merchant launches
Act as the SMB Direct subject matter expert for Eats partners, providing education and enablement as needed
Share structured feedback from the field to inform product and GTM strategy
Basic Qualifications
2 to 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, preferably in SMB, inside sales, or high-velocity environments
Experience managing a full sales cycle (discovery through close)
Background in SaaS, marketplace, payments, ecommerce, logistics, or retail technology
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Comfort with consultative or technical selling (e.g., SaaS, APIs, ecommerce, logistics, POS integrations)
Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence without direct ownership of the broader account
Resilient, coachable, and motivated by performance in a metrics-driven environment
Ability to operate with urgency and navigate ambiguity in a fast-growing business
Strong discovery, objection-handling, and closing skills
