The Pre-Launch Sales and Marketing Manager leads franchisees and studio managers through the full pre-launch lifecycle, from campaign launch through Grand Opening execution. This role is responsible for pre-launch marketing performance, sales execution, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate has experience in boutique fitness, wellness, or multi-location brands and understands how paid media, local marketing, and sales execution work together to drive membership growth before and immediately after opening. This role ensures that marketing campaigns launch on time, leads are effectively converted, and studios open with momentum and a clear path to early revenue stability. Key Responsibilities
Pre-Launch Strategy and Execution Guide franchisees through PVOLVE’s pre-launch roadmap beginning approximately 120 days prior to opening Ensure paid media, local marketing, grassroots efforts, and outreach strategies are aligned to drive qualified leads Partner with studio managers to establish sales goals, outreach expectations, and conversion benchmarks Coordinate launch timelines across marketing, operations, and studio teams to ensure readiness prior to opening Marketing Performance and Optimization Oversee pre-launch campaign execution across paid media channels including Meta and Google Partner with internal marketing teams and external agencies to monitor performance and optimize campaigns based on cost per lead, lead quality, and conversion data Translate marketing performance into actionable guidance for franchisees and studio managers Identify opportunities to improve creative, messaging, and targeting based on performance and market feedback Sales Enablement and Conversion Coach franchisees and studio managers on lead follow-up, sales processes, and membership conversion best practices Ensure consistent execution of CRM workflows and outreach cadence during pre-launch Support studios in converting early interest into founding memberships and package sales Reinforce accountability through weekly performance reviews and KPI tracking Transition into Grand Opening Maintain momentum through opening week by ensuring leads are scheduled and sales opportunities are maximized Support Grand Opening execution including events, appointment scheduling, and daily performance tracking Ensure studios open with strong appointment books and active membership pipelines Conduct post-opening performance reviews and support the transition into ongoing studio operations Reporting and Cross-Functional Collaboration Maintain dashboards providing visibility into pre-launch performance and opening readiness Deliver clear weekly performance updates to leadership highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance trends Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and franchise support teams to improve future openings Identify and document best practices that improve repeatability across the system Qualifications
Five or more years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, paid media, or performance-driven roles Experience supporting franchise systems or multi-location brands required Deep understanding of paid media platforms including Meta and Google and KPI optimization Experience working within membership or package-based revenue models preferred Highly proficient in project management tools, with Monday.com preferred Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into action Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent openings Excellent communicator with strong cross-functional relationship skills Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities Success in This Role Looks Like
