Position Summary

The Product Specialist supports the Product Manager in executing day-to-day product lifecycle activities across a portfolio of engineered HVAC and enclosure cooling systems. This role focuses on operational execution, documentation control, cross-functional coordination, and data management - enabling the Product Manager to focus on product strategy, compliance leadership, and new product development initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, technically curious, and comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Lifecycle & Documentation Management Maintain and update product manuals, installation guides, specification sheets, and technical documentation Manage revision control and ensure documentation reflects latest engineering changes Coordinate updates following UL/AHRI/DOE certifications or engineering revisions Track model transitions (new compressors, voltage changes, refrigerant updates, etc.) Maintain product image libraries, CAD files, and marketing collateral alignment 2. Certification & Compliance Support

Assist with documentation packages for UL, AHRI, DOE, and other regulatory submissions Track certification status by model and maintain internal reporting dashboards Organize test reports, certification letters, and approval documentation Ensure marketing and sales materials reflect certified configurations only 3. Cross-Functional Coordination

Serve as execution liaison between Product Management and:

Engineering Marketing Sales Purchasing Production

Track action items from product meetings Help manage rollout sequencing for new models Support customer orders requiring configuration confirmation 4. Pricing & Commercial Support

Maintain pricing sheets and update based on cost changes Assist in margin tracking and cost rollups Support CPQ updates and configuration accuracy Assist Sales with product data clarification 5. New Product Launch Support

Support Stage-Gate or launch milestone tracking Maintain launch checklists Coordinate marketing asset timing relative to certification milestones Assist in preparing product launch materials and internal announcements Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a minimum of 5 or more years in related HVAC experience. 2-5 years' experience in product support, engineering support, technical sales, or manufacturing operations Strong Excel skills (formulas, data organization, tracking sheets) Experience working with ERP systems High attention to detail and process discipline Preferred:

Experience in HVAC, industrial equipment, or engineered products Familiarity with UL, AHRI, or regulatory environments Experience supporting new product launches Technical writing skills Understanding of AI systems and integrations Understanding of refrigeration systems, compressors, or electrical systems
