Overview
Global chemical manufacturer is looking for a Senior Sales Account Manager for the Midwest. This role is remote, but does require travel across the Midwest territory. To be successful, incumbent must have sugar manufacturing/food safety experience, along with sales experience. Compensation & Travel
Base: $110,000-125,000 + commission
Travel: up to 35% at first, then less
Benefits: full suite including matching 401K
Responsibilities
Develop plans to grow territory of new business. Visit customers and key targets at regular intervals to identify needs and sales opportunities.
Build and develop customer relationships as a platform for sustainable business and control expenses within the area of responsibility.
Align account information and product and services strategies with Sales Manager. This ensures DLP is positioned to meet new market and industry demands.
Submit reports on sales activity regularly in the CRM software and maintain clear and updated records for all leads and customers.
Develop and communicate customer demand forecasting to feed Sales Team and internal supply chain planning functions.
Recapture lost sales and expand sales of products at assigned customer according to business goals. Drive select key initiatives for pipeline growth.
Alignment of customer programs by preparing program account agreements that detail specific products and services and timelines.
Provide customers with balanced product recommendations from company’s product range to meet industry needs.
