Summary of Position

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives for Showboat Hotel, including its attractions, events, and entertainment offerings. This role assists with coordinating digital marketing, on-property promotions, partnerships, content creation, and marketing logistics to drive guest engagement, visitation, and revenue. NA Qualifications and Skills

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Content creation and storytelling for social media, websites, and promotional materials Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) Digital marketing knowledge including email campaigns, SEO basics, and online promotions Graphic design basics using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar is a plus Project coordination and organization to manage multiple campaigns and events Analytical skills to review campaign performance and marketing data Customer-focused mindset with understanding of guest experience in hospitality Team collaboration with sales, events, and operations departments Creativity and attention to detail Education and Experience

Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 1–3 years of experience in marketing, hospitality, tourism, or event promotion (internship experience may also be acceptable) Experience with social media management, digital marketing, or content creation Familiarity with hotel or resort operations is a plus Experience using marketing tools, CRM systems, or email marketing platforms preferred Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign Support Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for Showboat Hotel, Lucky Snake Arcade, Island Waterpark, and other property attractions. Coordinate promotional initiatives, seasonal campaigns, and special events. Support campaign rollout across digital, social media, email, website, and on-property channels. Content & Creative Coordination Coordinate marketing assets including graphics, videos, signage, and promotional materials. Work with internal teams and external vendors to produce marketing collateral. Assist with website content updates, landing pages, and promotional messaging. Social Media & Digital Marketing Assist in managing social media calendars and posting schedules. Monitor engagement and help respond to guest inquiries on social platforms. Support digital marketing initiatives including email marketing, online promotions, and influencer collaborations. Event & Promotion Coordination Assist with the marketing promotion of on-site events, group sales initiatives, and special activations. Coordinate marketing logistics for events including signage, promotional materials, and on-site support. Work cross-departmentally with operations, sales, and entertainment teams. Partnerships & Community Engagement Support local partnerships, tourism organizations, and promotional collaborations. Assist with influencer visits, media opportunities, and brand partnerships. Administrative & Organizational Support Track marketing campaign timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics. Maintain marketing asset libraries and promotional calendars. Coordinate vendor communications and marketing orders as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Showboat Core Values
