Job Title: Customer Retention Specialist
Central Transport LLC, a leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 90 years is currently seeking a Customer Retention Specialist for our Corporate Office in Warren, MI. This role is a critical position in managing and servicing customers in "open" territories in the field. Our customer retention specialists are provided with in-depth training to provide continuous skill and internal career enhancement based on performance and work ethic. Job Description and Responsibilities:
Managing existing accounts and increasing your customer base's revenue Establishing rapport and developing strong business relationships with customers and managers/directors of sales in your assigned territories Negotiating terms and adjusting pricing agreements that are attractive to the customer yet profitable for the company Exceeding monthly customer engagement goals Effectively communicating and reporting important customer / account information to the sales leadership team Executing detail-oriented solutions to complex, situational problems Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency Maintain and update accurate information in the company's operating systems Understand and support the goals, policies and procedures of Central Transport, LLC Maintain confidentiality of company information Required Skills:
2-3 years of LTL Customer Service or Sales Experience Superior communication skills including listening, reading, writing and speaking An aggressive, confident and competitive nature to drive growth in market share Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) Willingness to learn specialized, company specific technology/programs Results Oriented Self Starter Skilled at sustaining engagement and accountability through regular follow-up Strong drive to win
