Local Sales Support Representative
Central Transport, LLC, a leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 90 years is currently seeking a Local Sales Support Representative for our Corporate Office in Warren, MI. This role is a critical position in supporting our in-house Sales Representatives of our organization. Our representatives are provided with in-depth training to provide continuous skill and internal career enhancement based on performance and work ethic. Job Details and Responsibilities: Assisting local sales executives daily via email or phone call Analyzing current and past shipments to ensure charges are applied correctly and data is entered correctly. Helping with the shared Sales Support email inbox to assist with customer and internal requests Advising customers directly via no-reply email address when requested by the sales executive Packaging and mailing PRO tracking books to customers who request them Updating internal inventory sheet to keep record of customers who receive & the pro ranges sent to them Pulling and filtering daily/weekly reports and sending them to the sales executive Assisting with having Shipper Load & Count (SLC) agreements completed My Central Web Account set up/deletion Reviewing certain accounts that have been newly onboarded to CT to report any issues/ensure smooth start up Analyzing existing accounts requested to be put on a Watch list by RDS/VP Sales Skills Previous experience within the logistics field preferred but not required Detail oriented and well organized Ability to multitask and work independently Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to manage and track daily work Microsoft Office experience preferred but not required
