Regional Sales Engineer

Overview

A proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated sales professional is needed to help lead the Northeast U.S. equipment sales effort. In this role, the Regional Sales Manager will call on upstream, midstream, and downstream operators—particularly within refining and petrochemical sectors—as well as corporate offices and engineering contractors supporting these customers to generate inquiries and close orders. The primary focus will be capital equipment sales including flare systems, incineration systems, and low NOx burners within the downstream corporate market. Responsibilities

Contact new and existing customers to promote products and services Understand customer needs and identify profitable sales opportunities Generate inquiries, provide timely and meaningful quote feedback, and close orders Identify potential and previously unknown customers Gather market intelligence on current and upcoming projects Collaborate with key decision-makers at EPC firms and end user organizations Deliver technical PowerPoint presentations highlighting products and capabilities Coordinate and grow local aftermarket business Qualifications

Candidates should work well with individuals at various levels within both engineering contractor firms and corporate end user offices, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and effectively identify and influence decision makers through persuasive negotiation. Preferred qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technical sales experience in the hydrocarbon processing and/or chemical processing industries Ability to travel domestically Knowledge of combustion or heat transfer equipment Minimum of 3 years of capital equipment sales experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits
