Description The estimated salary for this position is $150,000-$170,000/Annually.

Duties and Responsibilities/Results:

Maintains high level of productivity among district personnel through careful supervision, including coaching, disciplining, and evaluating. Make recommendations on hiring, terminations, and salary increases.

Develop, implement, and attain district sales objectives. Manage the team to meet/exceed assigned sales and retention goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Provide strong leadership and clear communication in planning and carrying out projects, including technology rollouts and business improvements. Build and maintain solid working relationships with the district sales team through regular coaching, team meetings, and consistent follow-up.

Develop and sustain an in-depth knowledge of all RSB products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and participate in ongoing training as needed.

Keep up to date on competitors’ products, services, locations, and hours. Provide recommendations to strengthen the Bank’s position in the market.

Identify opportunities to improve processes that streamline work and reduce costs for the Bank.

Responsible for ensuring branch managers maintain satisfactory operational reviews and audits.

Prioritize and execute on ad hoc requests and responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of ten (10) years of banking experience, including leadership roles within Retail and Business Banking.

BA/BS degree required; concentration in Management or Leadership preferred.

Working knowledge of related banking systems; Fiserv DNA preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with proven strengths in customer relations and personnel management.

Comprehensive knowledge of applicable banking laws, regulations, and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a community or mutual bank environment with an emphasis on relationship banking.

Existing network across NYC’s small and lower middle market business communities.

Familiarity with CRA strategies, community partnerships, and impact-based banking initiatives.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Full-time, on-site presence with regular in-market client coverage and internal collaboration.

Combination of office, branch, and client site visits.

Participation in community, networking, and business development events (including occasional evenings/weekends).

Travel primarily within the NYC metro area and surrounding counties.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
