Strategy Manager

to join our team. The Manager of Strategy will be a key member of the strategy team, supporting the Director of Strategy in developing and executing initiatives that drive growth and innovation in the beverage industry. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, industry knowledge, and strategic thinking to provide insights that shape the company\'s future direction in a competitive market. Stamford, CT or Tampa, FL . The expected compensation range varies by location: Connecticut:

$122,613 - $146,400, this role is eligible for an annual bonus Florida:

$102,177 - $122,000, this role is eligible for an annual bonus

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and location. Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8AM-5PM with extended hours based on business needs. Travel:

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Ownership Partner directly with senior leadership to prioritize strategic initiatives, identify emerging growth opportunities, and inform the long‑term strategic plan. Serve as a thought partner to Marketing, Sales, Commercial Finance, R&D, and Operations leaders, influencing decisions with data‑driven strategic insight. Market, Consumer & Competitive Intelligence Oversee complex, multi‑source market analyses to identify trends, white‑space opportunities, and competitive threats, using syndicated data, consumer research, and macroeconomic signals. Develop strategic perspectives on category evolution, innovation needs, channel shifts, and portfolio strategy. Strategic Project Management & Cross-Functional Leadership Support cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives such as new product category expansion, pricing optimization programs, supply chain transformation efforts, or regional market entry. Establish workplans, manage milestones, and ensure accountability across project teams. Analytics & Business Case Development Drive the development of robust business cases, financial models, scenario analyses, and ROI frameworks to guide major investment and portfolio decisions. Translate complex insights into clear, compelling storylines that inspire action. Executive Communication & Influence Ensure that strategic narratives are synthesized, visually polished, and grounded in insights that support critical business decisions. M&A and Strategic Partnerships Support or lead strategic diligence efforts for M&A targets, licensing opportunities, and partnership evaluations including market sizing, synergy assessment, and integration recommendations. Performance Tracking & Strategic Governance Build and manage KPIs, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms to evaluate performance of strategic initiatives, innovation launches, and commercial programs. Industry & Innovation Leadership Monitor regulatory changes, emerging technologies, sustainability regulations, and category innovations to proactively advise the business on future risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field MBA or advanced degree is a plus Experience : 5–8 years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning, corporate strategy, or corporate development — ideally within beverage, food, or broader CPG. Demonstrated experience managing or leading project teams (formal or informal leadership). Skills : Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to handle large datasets and complex financial models Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and visual communication, with a demonstrated ability to design polished, data-driven slides that weave complex strategic concepts into compelling narratives for executive audiences High proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and working with large datasets; familiarity with SQL or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. Strong understanding of financial modeling and business valuation techniques, as well as syndicated scan data measures and tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, problem-solving, and attention to detail Industry Knowledge : Understanding of beverage market dynamics, including consumer trends, distribution channels, supply chain operations, and regulatory environment.
