This role will design product packaging, seasonal gift boxes, shipping inserts and packaging, and in-store retail displays. This is a hands‑on role for a designer who understands print production, dielines, materials, and vendor collaboration, and how to make products shine in brand aligned packaging. Learn more by visiting our Instagram @velvetcaviar or website, velvetcaviar.com What you’ll do: Design product packaging across multiple product categories for new releases and refreshing existing packaging designs Create seasonal gift boxes and limited‑edition packaging for gifting Design retail / POP displays for countertop, floor, signage, end caps, etc. Design shipping inserts and DTC packaging like postcards, bubble mailers, etc. Collaborate directly with packaging and print vendors Work closely with Product and Marketing teams for design execution Ensure brand consistency across all physical touchpoints and assist with brand guideline evolutions Requirements: 3–7+ years of product packaging/print/ brand design experience Retail packaging & display experience (mass retail, specialty retail) Expert-level Adobe Illustrator (print workflows) Experience working with dielines and print vendors Deep understanding of print production (CMYK, Pantone, bleeds, finishes) Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple projects High attention to detail for print accuracy and design direction Interest in developing products with sustainable packaging PERKS & BENEFITS: Health Insurance + 401k benefits offered Competitive salary + performance‑based bonuses Hybrid schedule; 2 days a week in the office Nice office located at the Brooklyn Navy Yard PTO Days + Specified National Holidays Off Quarterly team events and or retreats A key player at a quickly growing brand Velvet Caviar is an equal opportunity employer.
