In this role, you'll work on a diverse range of design projects from designing individual graphical elements to elevate an existing page to creating complete page layouts and user interfaces. You'll collaborate closely with our Senior UX/UI Design, our web development team as well as other team members to create intuitive, conversion‑focused designs that balance user needs with business objectives. Your work will span both UI and UX design, with a particular emphasis on user interface design. You'll bring visual excellence to our website, ensuring every element is beautifully crafted, on‑brand, and aligned with our design standards. As a Front‑End Web Designer, You Will: Design user interfaces for web applications, ranging from individual components to full page layouts Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups in Figma Produce graphic assets and visual elements that align with brand guidelines Design polished UI designs with attention to typography, color, spacing, and visual hierarchy Work within established design systems while identifying opportunities for improvement Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently Design interaction states, micro‑animations, and visual feedback for user actions Maintain consistency across projects by adhering to existing design standards and documentation Apply UX principles to inform visual design decisions Qualifications Essential Expert‑level proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration Strong understanding of UI/UX principles with a UI‑focused approach Proven ability to work within established design systems and brand guidelines Portfolio demonstrating polished UI execution and strong visual design skills Experience designing for web‑based applications and responsive layouts Nice to Haves Understanding of front‑end development constraints (HTML/CSS/Astro) Experience conducting user research or usability testing Familiarity with accessibility standards Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization techniques and how to implement them into web UIs Knowledge of design tokens and component‑based design systems Basic knowledge of the Adobe suite Skill Set Design Tools: Figma (expert), with working knowledge of complementary tools UI Skills: Visual design, typography, colour theory, iconography, micro‑interactions, layout composition UX Skills: User flows, wireframing, information architecture, interaction design, usability principles Collaboration: Design documentation, developer handoff, cross‑functional communication Process: Working iteratively, incorporating feedback, maintaining design consistency across projects Drive & Discipline – ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment across various projects with a focus on achieving high‑quality results on time.
