Learn more at **insightsoftware.com.****Job Description:**# Position SummaryThe Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) for the DACH region is a hands on role and trusted partner to the multiple teams and leadership across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This role is responsible for supporting local managers on employee relations, working with the Global strategic HRBP’s, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and Works Council requirements. The HRBP will play a key role in developing our high-performance culture as we grow.# Key Responsibilities* Business Partner* Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with local objectives, supporting
business transformation.* Advise Global HRBP’s on German laws and process and requirements,* Collaborate with other EMEA HRBP’s on EMEA employee initiatives* Champion company culture, employee engagement, and diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) initiatives.* Answer questions from the JIRA portal which is used for employee questions for HR.* Provide payroll information to the payroll team on a monthly basis* Employee Relations & Works Councils* Serve as the main HR contact for employees and managers in the DACH region, with the main focus on Germany.* Build and maintain effective relationships with Works Councils (Betriebsrat), working with the EMEA HR Director on negotiations and co-determination processes on topics such as restructuring, remote work, and digital transformation.* Manage employee relations cases, grievances, and investigations, ensuring fair and timely resolution.* Compliance & Risk Management* Ensure HR practices comply with German and DACH labor laws, tech industry standards, and internal policies.* Monitor regulatory changes and proactively assess their impact on the business.* Lead or support audits and risk mitigation initiatives, including Health and Safety.* HR Operations & Projects* Working with the Centres of Excellence on the employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, and offboarding.* Drive HR projects such as employer branding, DEI, and digital HR transformation.* Leverage HR analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.* Collaboration & Communication* Work closely with global HR teams, Centers of Excellence, and People Operations to deliver seamless HR services.* Communicate effectively in both English and German, adapting style for technical and non-technical audiences.* Support change management initiatives, especially those related to AI and transformational change.# Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, business, psychology or a related field.* 5+ years’ HRBP experience in the tech industry or a fast-growing, matrixed environment.* Deep knowledge of German labor law and experience working with Works Councils (Betriebsrat), ideally in a tech or digital context.* Strong business acumen and understanding of the tech sector’s challenges (e.g., talent competition, remote/hybrid work, digital skills).* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in both English and German, must be fluent in English.* Experience with HRIS, digital HR tools, and data analytics.* Ability to work independently, prioritize in a dynamic environment, and travel to the German offices as required.
Will be required to be in Schmitten office once a week.# Preferred Qualifications* Experience supporting software engineering, professional services, or sales team.* Additional language skills (e.g., French) are a plus.Reporting Line: Reports to the EMEA HR Director, based in the UKLocation: Germany (with infrequent travel to other German offices required)The salary range in Germany for this position is 80,000.00 to 100,000.00 EUR Annual.Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for a bonus. For sales roles, this range includes a commission target.We are committed to pay transparency and fair compensation practices.
