Job Description Summary Responsible for the development and direction of creative materials that reinforce Transamerica brand and product positioning across our Retirement and Investments channels and platforms. This includes managing a design team to conceptualize and create brand assets (video, digital, and print) for Transamerica. This AD role requires video creation experience, primarily in post‑production and editing, and will account for about 35% of the effort. Responsibilities include understanding our brand, developing compelling layouts, video post‑production, and championing brand consistency across multiple platforms and channels. Responsibilities Manage design team resources and provide direction to ensure project objectives are met Concept, design, and complete materials for video, digital, and print formats to support campaign and marketing needs Oversee concepting, creation, and delivery; ensure adherence to brand standards Work with fellow Art Directors and content team on creative development to understand requirements and goals Handle video and post‑production, including editing and animation for use on Transamerica websites, social media platforms, and other mediums Provide senior managers with routine reporting on team activities Maintain a deep understanding of company products and branding Help create processes, templates, and standards for use by all designers Make recommendations to improve efficiency, productivity, and procedures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, design, digital media or related field Eight years of experience in a creative marketing, video and digital design role Experience leading creative projects and conceptualizing ideas in a team environment Expertise creating in digital and traditional formats, animation, and video processes Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Video, HTML, and general CMS knowledge Strong communication, problem‑solving, negotiating, and relationship building skills Deadline and detail oriented, organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects Ability to work independently with limited direction Link to professional portfolio Preferred Qualifications Experience in the financial services industry Formal management/leadership experience Salary The salary for this position generally ranges between $100,000 – $120,000 annually. The starting pay is determined by qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in‑office, hybrid, remote), and operational needs. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance.
