POSITION SUMMAR The Rare Beauty Graphic Designer, reporting to the Senior Digital Designer, will translate brand standards into visually compelling and easy-to-navigate designs across all digital channels (e-commerce, social, and paid media). Graphic Designer will occasionally support brand’s Photo & Video Art Director. RESPONSIBILITIES Design Follow and apply direction implemented by Sr Digital Designer, ensuring consistency in designs and content across all digital channels and retailers Collaborating with the e-commerce, social and digital marketing teams to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting brand design standards Occasionally develop and implement effective visual concepts for projects for digital placements. Create high-quality designs that meet the brand’s standards Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm new ideas and concepts Develop visual identity elements for social promotions (logos, color palettes, typography) Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies Ensure timely completion of all design projects and tasks Editing small scale video Assets, including application of graphics or motion text to video assets Assist Photo & Video Art Director to ensure that assets that are needed for design are being captured Occasionally support in finessing shoot decks for each project in order to present clearly to relevant stakeholders Post shoots: Create asset toolkits and guidelines dictated by AD to share with cross-functional teams Reviewing website and digital assets to maintain best in class execution Maintain organized asset library Other tasks as assigned REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in digital design, graphic design, or a related field 5+ years proven experience in professional digital design or similar role Thorough understanding of photography, typography and design for print and digital Experience within the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle industries a plus Knowledge of current market trends, cultural insights, and art history Ability to troubleshoot and be flexible in a fast-moving, multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines; ability to juggle between multiple projects with strong attention to detail Ability to foster collaborative and productive working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines Working knowledge of design and video editing software and programs: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Final cut pro, After Effects, Premiere Pro Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to adapt to digital asset management and project management software A team player with exceptional organizational, technical and communication skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Occasionally moves product and/or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds across office for various needs Occasionally moves about inside the office to access storage rooms, office machinery, etc. Infrequent domestic and international travel, as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
