Job Title: Marketing Web Developer
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Department: Marketing
Purpose Responsible for advancing Messenger International’s vision by empowering rapid experimentation and execution of marketing value ladders and revenue models through scalable, high-performing web, ecommerce, and marketing technology systems.
Primary Outcomes Marketing campaigns, funnels, and ecommerce experiences are launched efficiently, perform reliably, and support timely experimentation and iteration
Marketing teams are enabled to test, measure, and refine revenue and engagement models without technical execution becoming a bottleneck
Marketing web, ecommerce, and analytics systems operate as stable, well-documented platforms that reduce operational risk and support sustained growth
Duties and Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain marketing and campaign web experiences, including landing pages, funnels, and ecommerce pages, in alignment with brand, campaign, and revenue objectives
Translate marketing strategy and campaign requirements into scalable, functional web and ecommerce implementations that support rapid testing and iteration
Establish and maintain technical patterns and workflows for funnel development, offer sequencing, and campaign execution across free, paid, and donor-supported models
Configure, support, and maintain ecommerce platforms and related services (e.g., Shopify, Google Merchant Center) to ensure reliable operation and accurate data flow
Design, implement, and maintain marketing analytics, tracking, and attribution frameworks, including UTMs, dashboards, and reporting integrations
Support conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives by implementing testing frameworks, performance enhancements, and technical improvements across marketing web properties
Provide technical support for SEO initiatives, including page performance, site structure, and implementation of optimization best practices
Support and maintain email marketing and automation integrations (e.g., Klaviyo), ensuring accurate attribution, deliverability considerations, and integration with ecommerce and analytics systems
Partner closely with Marketing, Design, and Content teams to assess feasibility, recommend implementation approaches, and deliver effective campaign execution
Maintain documentation, standards, and processes related to marketing web systems, integrations, and deployments to support continuity and scalability
Other related duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in web development, marketing technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated professional experience building and maintaining marketing-focused web, ecommerce, and analytics systems
General Qualifications Strong proficiency in web development for marketing and ecommerce environments
Experience with ecommerce platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics systems
Ability to exercise independent professional judgment in selecting tools, approaches, and implementation methods
Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with cross-functional marketing teams
Attention to detail, documentation, and process discipline in revenue-impacting systems

Job Type/Schedule Full-time, 40-hour work week with the potential for occasional overtime. This is an exempt position and is not subject to overtime pay in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Pay This role has a salary range of $75,000 - $82,000 , depending on qualifications and experience.
