Our client is a leader in games development, looking to add a Technical Writer to their team.
Location: North Austin, TX - 3 days onsite
Duration: 3 month contract initially, with view to extend
Pay Rate: $45-50/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop, organize, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, and FAQs, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams to gather technical details and translate complex concepts into user-friendly content.
- Review and update existing documentation to align with product updates, company standards, and user feedback.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in technical writing for software development teams.
- Experience documenting apps in .NET and/or TypeScript.
- Any development/coding experience would be a plus (such as personal projects)
