Producer – Social media producer to join our social team. This role is responsible for developing original content for top social media accounts, focusing on entertainment and music programming. The ideal candidate is a creative multi‑platform storyteller experienced in long and short‑form original video production, with first‑hand experience creating best‑in‑class Instagram content. They must be organized, detail oriented, and thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and produce original content and assets for social media.
Capture, edit, and produce photo and video content for use on the social channel.
Curate best‑in‑class content from global creators for the social channel.
Manage the creative production process, including story ideation, creation of visual assets, overseeing information sharing, and executing post‑production responsibilities.
Oversee external content capture teams (photo and video contractors), providing clear creative direction, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet Instagram’s high standards of quality.
Manage cross‑functional relationships and information sharing between internal teams.
Serve as a liaison between external partners and Instagram editorial.
Analyze data to inform creative decision‑making for creative and long‑term strategy.
Manage project statements of work, estimates and related parameters.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in a creative role emphasizing social media asset creation.
Experience running projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience managing external creative and production partners.
Experience building working relationships with core and cross‑functional teams.
Demonstrated experience working in creative production for an international audience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing content about entertainment, music and pop culture.
On‑the‑ground, on‑set production experience.
Visual portfolio of published work.
Proficient with Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects.
Experience working within a creative department that prioritizes visual storytelling.
Able to thrive in a self‑starter, fast‑paced, changing environment.
Great people skills; genuinely interested in getting to work and interacting with people worldwide.

Pay and Benefits
Contract position based in Los Angeles, CA. Pay range: $40–$50/hr.
