Role Summary
We’re looking for a social media producer to join our social team. This role is responsible for developing original content for the top social media accounts with a particular focus on entertainment and music programming.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, an experienced multi‑platform storyteller (long and short‑form original video production), organized, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
The candidate should have strong communication skills, be eager to take on photo and video shoots autonomously, and be able to deliver and launch initiatives on time, on budget, and on strategy with the appropriate tone and style.
Responsibilities
Develop and produce original content and assets for social media.
Capture, edit, and produce photo and video content for use on social channels.
Curate best‑in‑class content from global creators to share on the social channel.
Manage the creative production process, including story ideation and creation of visual assets, information sharing, and post‑production responsibilities.
Oversee external content capture teams (photo and video contractors), providing clear creative direction, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet Instagram’s high standards of quality.
Manage cross‑functional relationships and information sharing between internal teams.
Manage relationships with external partners and networks and serve as a liaison between partners and Instagram editorial.
Analyze data to inform creative decision‑making with regards to individual creative and long‑term strategy.
Manage project statements of work, estimates, and related parameters.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in a creative role with emphasis on creating assets for social media.
Experience running projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience managing external creative and production partners.
Experience building working relationships with core and cross‑functional teams.
Demonstrated experience working in creative production for an international audience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing content about entertainment, music, and pop culture.
On‑ground, on‑set production experience.
Visual portfolio of published work.
Proficiency with Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and/or After Effects.
Experience working within a creative department that prioritizes visual storytelling.
Ability to work and thrive in a self‑starter, fast‑paced and changing environment.
Great people skills and genuine interest in interacting with people worldwide.

Pay range: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour.
