Service Writer

$15.00 / hour

Lafayette, LA

We are hiring a full-time Service Writer to serve as the first point of contact for customers. This role is responsible for customer check-in/check-out, creating repair orders, coordinating equipment flow in the warehouse, and supporting mechanics while maintaining an organized and safe work environment.
Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
  40 Hours / Week

Pay Rate:

• $15.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers dropping off and picking up equipment
• Write up Service Repair Cards and repair orders in the computer system
• Coordinate equipment flow in and out of the warehouse
• Deliver equipment to mechanics for service
• Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized
• Pressure wash equipment when needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day & able to lift up 25lbs.
• Exposure to outdoor elements, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas, and fumes

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months of related experience or training

Preferred:

• Forklift certification
• Bilingual (a plus)
