What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve sales quotas in both new and existing accounts
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to ensure customer growth and retention
Deliver presentations to district-level stakeholders, showcasing the company\'s educational solutions
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in K-12 education
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and provide market insights to leadership
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of successful business development, sales, and account management experience
Experience selling or working with technology-based curriculum products, preferably in literacy/reading
Deep knowledge of the K–12 education landscape, including funding cycles and decision-making hierarchies
Proven track record of sales goal attainment and managing a pipeline of opportunities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Existing contacts within the K-12 education sector in the assigned territory
Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce), MS Office, Google Suites, and video conferencing tools
Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling product presentations to decision-makers
Collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional teamwork
