VP of Sales Remote Job Duties : • Build, lead and manage a top-flight sales team : Ensure “A”- level talent across all sales territories. Attract new talent as necessary, and remove underperformers swiftly Continue to scale the team, expanding the number of sales territories. A scrappy player coach who inspires and motivates that does not bring a sense of entitlement to the role and can roll up his / her sleeves as needed to ensure results Partner effectively with all internal stake holders : Be a thoughtful partner to his / her direct reports in determining how to grow the business Be the primary source for business intelligence and insight driving the strategic development of value added products, services and reporting with the internal executive, IT and operational teams Will design and develop metrics, reports and analyses to drive key business decisions Be an effective face for the organization : Advocate for the company and inspire confidence with all external parties, including existing and potential customers Conduct key account and field rep visits as needed Be a convincing spokesperson for product value propositions with all current / potential customers and sales professionals Maintain our core values of honesty, transparency, integrity, passion, commitment, loyalty, personal responsibility and determination Results oriented : Manage and lead a team of salespeople toward achievement of all revenue and profit targets Ensure all compensation plans meet the goal of driving sales production toward the accomplishment of corporate goals Incorporate sales methodology and process that is both measurable and scalable to drive individual and team performance
