The Miguel & Holly Show on Mix 100.7 is currently seeking a dedicated and creative part‑time Broadcast Producer to join the team. In this role, you will help plan, coordinate, and execute both live and pre‑recorded radio segments that include news, music, entertainment, talk features, sports updates, traffic reports, and other engaging content. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute behind the scenes while also being an important part of the on‑air experience. If selected, you’ll become a key member of Tampa Bay’s #1 morning radio show, helping shape the sound and energy that listeners wake up to every day. What You'll Do
Generate original ideas, foster creative brainstorming with the team, and conduct thorough research to support content development. Research topics, gather materials, and assist with contacting, coordinating, and scheduling guests. Provide clear direction to presenters, content contributors, assistants, and other production crew members. Manage budgets responsibly and ensure resources are used efficiently throughout the production process. Secure necessary permissions and licenses for on‑location recording, broadcasting, and the use of music, sound effects, or archival audio. Monitor listener emails, inquiries, and feedback related to shows, ensuring timely follow‑up and response. Collaborate closely with presenters, performers, and other program contributors to maintain quality standards and ensure all content meets established production guidelines, rules, and regulations. Operate broadcasting technologies, including soundboards and editing or production software. Schedule and monitor the radio stream during live recordings to ensure smooth execution. Support time‑keeping, save show recordings, archive files, and assist with post‑production editing as needed. What You'll Need
Availability to work weekday mornings from 5:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m., with reasonable flexibility to support additional days or times as needed. Creative thinker with the ability to develop, articulate, and present original ideas. Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences, formats, and platforms. Strong understanding of the local radio market, including station and program styles and audience demographics. Experience operating recording equipment and working within a radio studio environment. Ability to build rapport, conduct interviews, and draw meaningful information from guests and sources. Confidence and persistence in pursuing information, overcoming obstacles, and pitching ideas to senior colleagues. Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines. Solid understanding of legal requirements, industry regulations, and clearance needs related to radio production. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and familiarity with major social media platforms. What You'll Bring
