Benefits Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a growing organization to identify a Benefits Specialist who will serve as a key resource for employees and leadership regarding benefit programs and administration. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and employee-focused benefits delivery across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong benefits knowledge, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and provide clear guidance on plan options Coordinate annual open enrollment, including employee communications, vendor meetings, and system updates Manage benefits enrollments, changes, terminations, and reconciliations within HRIS and payroll systems Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations (ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA) Partners with vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues and maintain accurate records Audit benefits data and invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of experience in benefits administration Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field (preferred) Strong working knowledge of benefit programs and related compliance requirements Experience working with HRIS systems and benefits platforms High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent communication skills and ability to support employees with varying levels of benefits knowledge Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year Search managed by: Claire Grossman Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply
