As we expand, were seeking a
Senior Construction Estimator
with deep experience in water and wastewater treatment projects to lead complex, high-value estimating efforts. This is a strategic hire for our Englewood-based team. This is not an entry-level role its ideal for an experienced, detail-driven professional ready to take ownership of preconstruction efforts and help shape the future of the organization. Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and pursue bid opportunities aligned with core services. Review and interpret complex plans, specifications, and contract documents for water and wastewater treatment facilities. Perform and/or oversee detailed quantity take-offs for civil, mechanical, and process systems. Develop accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing. Lead subcontractor and supplier outreach, pre-bid meetings, and quote evaluations. Collaborate with project managers and executives to assess risk, build bid strategies, and ensure alignment with company goals. Prepare and present final bids and proposals with precision, clarity, and strategic insight. What You Bring 5+ years of construction estimating experience with a focus on water/wastewater treatment and/or heavy civil infrastructure. Proven ability to lead complex estimates from start to finish, including design-build and CMAR delivery methods. In-depth knowledge of water process systems, civil sitework, and mechanical systems specific to treatment facilities. Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and digital plan tools. Strong analytical and organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and detail. Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments and lead external conversations. Team-oriented with a proactive mindset anticipating challenges and solving problems before they impact the bid. Pay Range: $85,000-110,000 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
