About the Role
We are seeking an Illustrator III to support document production and printing operations in a fast-paced, high-volume print environment. The role involves printing and distributing documents, operating high-speed printing equipment, performing basic maintenance, and managing workflows within the print department.
This position requires strong technical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate high-speed, production-level printing presses to produce documents such as forms, manuals, letters, brochures, posters, and marketing materials.
- Manage and process high-volume print and copy jobs, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Monitor print jobs in progress and inspect variable-data prints to ensure proper formatting, alignment, and document integrity.
- Perform routine printer maintenance, including cleaning, toner replacement, and troubleshooting basic equipment issues.
- Enter production data into a computerized print management system and maintain accurate records.
- Distribute printed materials, maintain inventory of printing supplies, and support administrative tasks for print operations.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure all outputs meet required standards.
- Utilize multifunction printers, printing software, and related digital tools to support workflow efficiency.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in digital printing or a related field.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot multifunction printers and digital printing devices.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing high-volume print jobs with accuracy and efficiency.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality in document production.
- Basic technical capability to maintain and service print equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background or coursework in Graphic Design.
- Understanding of print workflows, color accuracy, and document formatting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for printing equipment.
