We are seeking an experienced
Director of Compensation
to lead strategic compensation programs for a large, multi-site healthcare services organization. Reporting to the
Senior Director of Total Rewards & Compensation , this leadership role oversees a team of
3–5 compensation professionals
and is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This leader will oversee base salary structures, incentive programs, executive compensation support, and market benchmarking across a complex national workforce. The Director will partner closely with HR leadership, finance, and executive stakeholders to ensure compensation programs align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and competitive market practices. Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and administration of enterprise compensation programs, including base pay, short-term incentives, and executive compensation frameworks. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to maintain competitive pay structures across healthcare and corporate functions. Partner with HR and business leaders to support compensation planning, job architecture, and organizational design. Manage compensation review cycles, including annual merit and incentive processes. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and support governance of compensation policies. Lead and mentor a team of compensation professionals while improving systems, analytics, and reporting. Required Qualifications
10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including leadership responsibility. Strong background in
enterprise compensation strategy within healthcare, multi-site services, or similarly complex organizations . Experience leading compensation teams and managing enterprise pay programs. Advanced knowledge of compensation analytics, benchmarking, and incentive plan design. Ability to influence senior leadership and translate data into strategic recommendations. Bachelor’s degree required;
