The Role As a core member of the Strata Health U.S. Team, the Sales Director is responsible for U.S. based sales efforts to hit or exceed U.S. financial targets and individual quotas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare, technology, and software, as well as experience building and progressing an evolving pipeline.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute sales strategies that drive new bookings and revenue.
Monitor and report on sales goals, targets, and progress.
Collaborate with the U.S. team to deploy new initiatives and improve existing processes.
Efficiently manage a multi-state sales territory for maximum market penetration and new business development.
Monitor market, industry, and competitor activity
Coordinate sales campaigns & assist with messaging development
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proven ability to hit and exceed sales quotas
Strong product demonstration, closing and negotiation skills
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with coworkers, clients, prospects, and partners
Humble and curious approach to learning, demonstrated openness to learning new skills, an ability to learn quickly and willingness to readily ask for assistance
Intermediate CRM proficiency (Sales Force preferred)
Experience with Sales & Marketing automation tools, such as Sales Loft, XANt, etc. to support sales campaigns
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, as well as engaging presentation abilities
Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with unknowns in a start-up environment
Prior Experience
5+ years sales experience in a healthcare setting. Ideally, experience with health systems and hospitals with a long and complex sales cycle.
Desirable: Prior SaaS or software experience
Desired: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field or certifications in healthcare-related areas a plus
