Role and Location: Hybrid in California

The Omnichannel Analytics Director will be responsible for building & leading the Omnichannel Analytics function. This includes both significant client-facing duties as well as internal capability development and management responsibilities.

For our clients, the Omnichannel Analytics Director ensures media strategy translates to in-market performance – not just media engagement but commercial performance. This involves managing analytics team members but also hands on work in developing measurement plans and finalizing performance reports that align to brand strategy.

The Omnichannel Analytics Director is responsible for creating an analytics strategy that supports our value proposition and building out the requisite internal capabilities & skills.

This role will work closely with media planning & media strategy to continually improve our analytics offerings as well as build new analytics products aligned to our value proposition.

Lastly, the Omnichannel Analytics Director will work with Media and Data Engineering teams to ensure data ingestion and reporting processes delivery high quality outputs.

This position reports to the SVP Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the client's strategic issues, initiatives and the competitive position.
  • Lead the measurement plan development and ensure that analytics efforts lead to clear, compelling and actionable insights.
  • Support new business initiatives by contributing to case studies, presenting key findings, and summarizing previous successes.
  • Performance Analytics
  • In consultation with Media and Strategy teams, own the development & delivery of insights-driven recommendations for client planning & other deliverables.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of internal and third-party data sources that support the custom measurement platform.
  • Work with vendors to shape / troubleshoot program structure & performance.
  • Product & Process Development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to the development of analytics products, including audience targeting and performance & investment modeling
  • Build analytics processes and tools to improve efficiency and decrease errors in data ingestion and synthesis.
  • Lead experimentation and testing, designing lift studies and custom attribution models that improve marketing performance.
  • Provide methodological support, coaching, training and advice to your direct reports and to the broader agency teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to continuously evolve analytics strategies and practices.

Qualifications

Key Characteristics:

  • Analytical mindset, able to interpret data and provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Industry Knowledge in marketing analytics and data (1st and 3rd party data solutions, data lakes, data clean rooms, aggregated and user level data)
  • Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, ROI development.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial with a desire to build a company, proactively solve problems, and willingness to not just lead, but do the work.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data/analytics consulting, quantitative marketing, or media data analysis.
  • Strong background in data visualization and reporting, with proficiency in tools such as Tableau and Excel.
  • Proven experience working with media data and excellent knowledge of marketing metrics, KPIs, and performance reporting.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences is highly preferred.
