Translate business challenges and strategic priorities into actionable tailored HR initiatives by developing and executing comprehensive strategy. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, participate in the recruitment process for specific roles (senior level), and make recommendations for hiring decisions. Assist in developing onboarding plans and programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. May co-facilitate new employee onboarding. Support performance management processes, including performance discussions and career development discussions. Partner with management on improving organizational effectiveness by analyzing departmental structures and evaluating options, ensuring optimal utilization, assessing engagement and morale, and developing strategic action plans. Proactively identify and address critical organizational and people issues and remove barriers impeding business success. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, and employment-related matters; provide guidance and solutions for employee relations issues and conflict resolution. Stay updated on employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance; develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks. Perform all other duties as assigned. Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; required. Minimum 8+ years in human resources with proven results; experience in Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals or Medical Device industry preferred; 3+ years in the Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals or Medical Device industry required if applicable. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws. PHR/SPHR/GPHR Certification preferred. Proven ability to challenge and motivate management teams with mutual respect; ability to forecast and analyze business trends; experience using HR dashboards and metrics. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills; proven full lifecycle recruiting experience. Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment; ability to work independently and set high personal goals. Strong project management and organizational navigation skills; ability to develop others and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to coach employees and management through complex issues; strong leadership skills. Willingness to work in the office 3-4 days per week. Pay range: $180,000 - $210,000 USD; compensation packages may include bonus, stock, benefits, and/or other variable components dependent on location and experience. Equal Opportunity Employer
