We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Full-Time Sales Coordinator / Front Desk Agent

to join our team at

New Bedford Harbor Hote l. This

dual function role

is perfect for a hospitality professional who enjoys the energy of the front desk but also has a passion for the strategic side of sales.

As the primary point of contact for our guests and clients, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service while supporting our sales department in driving revenue and managing group business. If you are a multitasking pro with a "guest-first" attitude and a desire to grow into hotel sales management, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

Maintain a warm, welcoming and professional demeanor while interacting with all guests and clients while working in both positions.

Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensure proper payment is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, with accurate information is recorded.

Effectively address and resolve guest problems to increase guest satisfaction.

Sell and coordinate bookings for all market segments.

Maintain an accurate Sales System.

Prepare contracts and proposals while overseeing payments.

Records and files all correspondence for easy retrieval.

Responds to telephone inquiries regarding hotel availability, quoting established group rates and assisting in overall business growth.

Provides weekly reports to necessary departments regarding upcoming scheduled events and hotel needs.

Coordinate and conduct site tours emphasizing features to meet client needs and opportunities to enhance overall satisfaction.

Effectively communicates with all hotel departments on sales and client needs.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 Per Hour

Shift: Flexible schedule

Qualifications

Prior hotel experience 1-2 years

Position is on site

Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

Ability to meet one-on-one with clients

Prior sales experience is not necessary but would be beneficial
