that assists the Director of Sales at the

Holiday Inn Express, Middletown/Newport

location.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to grow their career in sales. You will be provided with excellent mentorship directly from the Director of Sales to help expand and develop your sales & hotel knowledge.

The

Hotel Sales Coordinator

will assist the Director of Sales in all aspects of sourcing and servicing sales activity across all market segments, for the hotel.

Pay:

$20.00 - $21.00 Per Hour

Responsibilities

Sell and coordinate bookings for all market segments

Maintain sales system

Prepare contracts and proposals, receive payment

Type and file all correspondence for easy retrieval

Respond to telephone inquiries regarding hotel availability; quote established group rates

Provide weekly report to necessary departments about upcoming scheduled event needs

Effectively communicate with all hotel departments on event needs

Manage Wedding & Event segment

Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years hotel front‑desk experience or sales experience *preferred but not required*

Excellent telephone communication skills

Ability to meet one‑on‑one with individuals, such as brides or meeting room contacts

Strong organization skills and effective time‑management skills
