Job Description: This is a Marketing Intern position at Michigan Technological University, where you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement and promote the dining program. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Market Research:

Understanding the needs of the target market through research.

Planning and Brainstorming:

Contributing to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns.

Promotions and Advertising:

Implementing marketing campaigns across various platforms.

Project Management:

Taking the lead on projects and expanding your knowledge base.

Key Responsibilities (May include any or all):

Assisting with planning, organizing, and hosting events.

Supporting the “Dine on Campus” program.

Contributing to social media calendar development and promotions.

Acting as a brand representative.

Conducting marketing audits.

Completing administrative tasks.

Participating in Marketing Boot Camp.

Surveying students to gather marketing research.

Creating marketing materials to various specifications.

Managing signage in multiple locations.

Assisting in the creation of concepts, campaigns, and imagery to effectively communicate with the target market.

Managing website and social networking profile content.

Attending meetings and events as required.
