Job Description Summer Intern, New Business + Marketing Zeno Group is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Intern to support both our New Business and Marketing teams. This blended role will provide hands‑on exposure to the agency’s growth engine – from supporting pitch development and proposal creation to strengthening marketing initiatives, agency storytelling, and asset development. This position encompasses a wide array of responsibilities across new business + marketing, administrative coordination, asset management, research, and team organization. The ideal candidate brings personal drive, strong organizational skills, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to the agency’s growth and visibility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in public relations, marketing, business development, and agency operations to gain cross‑functional experience and build direct relationships with agency leadership.

Responsibilities New Business Support
Learn and execute established processes to support new business pitches and growth opportunities.
Assist in managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating projects from inception through delivery.
Support research and competitive intelligence efforts to inform pitch strategy and proposal development.
Collaborate with strategy, planning, creative, data & intelligence and other subject matter experts to help develop dynamic, winning proposals.
Help gather project requirements and support internal resource coordination.
Assist with streamlining production workflows to improve efficiency while maintaining Zeno's quality standards.
Marketing Support
Partner with the Marketing team to develop and maintain agency assets and materials (e.g., social content, award submissions, website updates, thought leadership content, media relations).
Support content development and internal communications that promote Zeno's expertise and culture.
Assist in maintaining organized libraries of marketing collateral and brand assets.
Contribute to campaign tracking, reporting, and performance documentation.
Help coordinate marketing initiatives, internal events, and leadership visibility efforts.
Conduct competitive research as needed.
Cross‑Functional Exposure
Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment between new business priorities and marketing storytelling.
Gain exposure to and build relationships with agency leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Provide administrative and organizational support as needed to ensure smooth team operations.
Qualifications
Passion for Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit.
Results‑driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively against deadlines.
Proactive and able to operate both independently and within a team environment.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
MS Office proficiency required (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Pay Pay rate: $18/hr.
