
Summer Marketing Intern

Dispatch Energy is an independent power producer focused on distributed generation (sub-20 MW; predominantly 1–5 MW) across multiple technological verticals. We operate over 60 MW today with ~200 MW contracted in development across solar, battery storage, wind, and fuel cells.
As we scale, we are building a thoughtful, high-impact brand presence across investors, partners, and industry stakeholders. We are seeking a Marketing Intern to support that growth.
Role Overview The Marketing Intern will support Dispatch Energy’s brand, investor-facing communications, event strategy, and digital presence. This role is ideal for someone seeking exposure to how marketing operates within a renewable energy investment and development platform.
The intern will work closely with the Business Operations team to support marketing execution across content, events, brand materials, and internal communications.
This is a high-visibility role with exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Brand & Content Development Support the development of marketing materials, including:
Company overview decks
Project summaries
Investor-facing materials
Assist in drafting and editing website and LinkedIn content
Help maintain brand consistency across documents and presentations
Support creation of short-form thought leadership content
Digital Presence & Social Media
Assist in managing LinkedIn content strategy
Draft and schedule posts aligned with company milestones, project updates, and industry insights
Track engagement metrics and prepare simple performance reports
Research relevant industry news and content opportunities
Event Marketing & Industry Presence
Support planning and coordination for:
Industry conferences
Investor events
Internal offsites and team events
Assist with logistics, invitations, guest tracking, and post-event follow-up
Help prepare briefing materials for leadership attending conferences
Organize branded materials and event documentation
Investor & External Communications Support
Assist in formatting investor updates and announcements
Help maintain marketing asset folders and document organization
Support coordination of board-related materials (formatting, branding consistency)
Conduct light research on industry competitors and market positioning
Internal Marketing & Culture
Support internal announcements and team communications
Assist with presentation design for internal meetings
Help maintain visual standards for internal documents
Contribute ideas to strengthen company culture and employer branding
What You Will Learn

Qualifications
Strong writing and editing skills
High attention to detail and visual presentation
Comfortable working in PowerPoint, Lucid, and Excel
Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional social platforms
Interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, finance, or investment preferred
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience with Canva or design tools
Basic understanding of renewable energy or infrastructure
Experience assisting with events or social media accounts
Interest in communications, branding, or investor relations
