Overview
Our client in the housewares manufacturing industry is looking for a Junior Designer focused on character licensed products to support the development of trend-driven, retail-ready collections.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop character licensed products across housewares categories including kitchen textiles, housewares, baby, pet and health & beauty.
Adapt licensed artwork and style guides to various product formats while maintaining brand integrity
Create presentation boards, mockups, and production-ready artwork files
Prepare detailed tech packs for overseas manufacturing
Partner with product development and sourcing teams to ensure quality and cost targets are met
Research trends in character licensing, color, graphics, and retail assortments
Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ensure all designs align with retail price points and licensing guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements
1–3 years of experience in product design, graphic design, or licensed consumer products (internship experience considered)
Experience working with character licensed brands and following style guides
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop required)
Understanding of print production, repeats, and graphic layouts for consumer goods
Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Textile Design, Industrial Design, or related field preferred
