Social Media Content & Marketing Intern (Fall 2025) Location : Hybrid. In-person in NYC when necessary, e.g. helping with shoots.

Ideal Start Date : Fall Semester (mid September)

Compensation : $22-30/hr, up to 20 hours a week

Commitment : Prefer 2-3 full days, or 3-4 half days (either morning or afternoons, hours have to be consecutive). 9am – 5:30 pm ET.

Founded by e-commerce industry insider Louise Lai (ex-Amazon and Walmart) to challenge an overlooked $18B US market, Haven crafts unbleached, toxin-free, 100% organic bamboo toilet paper that is dermatologist-approved and skin-loving. We’re looking for our first ever intern to join the founder in building the foundations of the Haven brand. Are you: chronically online and obsessed with TikTok? A burgeoning video editor? Health & wellness enthusiast? We want to meet you!

The Fine Print As the Social Media Content & Marketing Intern at Haven, you’ll play a lead role in our fast‑growing startup to create the Haven universe and shape how we show up in the world. We’re beta launching on Amazon this fall, and need a thought partner on the content marketing side to help us 1) create a steady drumbeat of demand‑building content, and 2) help us prepare for our official launch in 2026.

This is an incredible opportunity to be part of a high‑growth CPG company from ground zero. You’ll get tons of freedom to experiment on social media by creating and testing content, growing engagement, and building an Haven early community so we can scale with confidence in 2026.

Key Outcomes

Content creation: Consistently craft and post 2-4 IG videos per week, tracking what formats/styles perform best.

Insights: Deliver weekly insights on content performance.

Ideas: Brainstorm ideas/inspiration to build the Haven universe

Other Responsibilities

Manage IG comments and DMs

Try different creative angles: BTS, storytelling, product‑focused, myth‑busting etc.

Brainstorm ideas/inspiration for founder content and story‑telling

About You

Love creating content: you live and breathe Instagram/TikTok, are on top of all the trends / audios – and you want to be paid to do it for a brand. You are able to show us some of your past work, either personal or professional!

Strong storyteller: you have a track record of storytelling, either as writer, content creator, or artist.

Health and wellness obsessed: you know a lot about the space, what people are talking about, and which influencers matter.

Understanding of the “health optimizer” brand: Haven’s target demographic buys Aesop, works out at Equinox, and shops at Happier Grocery. You can clock who these people are, what they care about, what their vibe is.

Open to feedback: you’re willing to experiment and change your strategy based on data with no hard feelings

Skills

Video editing & shooting proficiency (CapCut, Canva, other AI video tools)

Social media savvy (IG/TikTok)

Proactive & resourceful

Organized (able to manage reviews, DMs, subscriber lists)

Graphic design and photography skills is a big plus!
