Overview

Hanson Faso Sales & Marketing is a food broker of Specialty, Natural, Perishables, and Confections. We are currently seeking an Account Manager – New England, Region. This individual will be a key member of the Hanson Faso Sales team reporting to our Sales Director, East. Previous experience in account management is required. The Account Manager is responsible for the HQ work for all store groups and direct accounts within an assigned geographic territory. The Account Manager Reports to the Territory Manager of an assigned geography. The Account Manager is responsible for coordinating projects with multiple players across geographic boundaries through their direct supervisor. Expand distribution of the organization’s total portfolio with your assigned accounts. Develop working relationships with store personnel. Maintain call schedule frequency as assigned by management. Manage appointments with/for the manufacturers. Manage client trade spend within assigned stores taking advantage of all manufacturer funds available to maximize sales. Sell against all available distributor books. Present new items to customer personnel. Request samples as needed from clients. Gain Incremental sales on displays and initiative items. Manage merchandising needs for your customer groups including: Working directly with the Field Sales Manager to assign needs per store groups. Checking shelves, coolers, and cases to make sure stock is in code and properly tagged. Collecting competitive information as requested. Performing assigned in-store audits. Stocking and/or replenishing shelves with merchandise. Update management of account activity and customer happenings through our market pulse report. Maintain details and inform management on category reviews at assigned customers. Immediately communicate major changes within major retailers to VP of Sales and Business Manager for relevant client. Place turnover orders within store as required. Present in-store promotional materials as required. Complete necessary administrative requirements such as new items and promotions for non-in-house accounts (these are typically accounts with less than $1,000,000 in overall HF client sales dollars). Task all work, approvals and communication through our CRM including pricing, promotions, ads, APLs, form work, and client email approvals. Problem Solving/Analysis. Business Acumen.
