The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring a high level of service at all times. This role also involves building and motivating high-performing teams to maximize property performance. Responsibilities Ensure the smooth operation of the community in a fast-paced environment.

Assist the Property Manager with overall operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.

Assist the Property Manager with providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.

Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure alignment with company standards.

Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.

Support the team by upholding Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) mission to be the best national management company.

Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring adherence to Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures.

Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary.

Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards.

Foster a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.

Manage and maintain all aspects of the overall community budget and finances.

Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are being met.

Competencies Effective communication and customer service skills.

Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.

General office, bookkeeping, sales skills, and excellent oral and written communication.

Ability to determine leasing opportunities for staff and set goals to improve performance.

Supervise day-to-day team operations and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals.

Ability to manage and lead a team.

Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Education Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required.

Experience 3+ years of Property Management experience.

1+ years of Management experience.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Regularly uses standard office equipment and may require travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical Demands

Demonstrated ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and travel between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. May require remaining in a stationary position for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally or frequently as needed. Other Duties

The compensation range is $22.95 - $27.00 per hour.
