Nature & Purpose of Position This internship provides support for the College of Arts & Media marketing team by assisting with the creation of digital, print, web, and video marketing assets that increase visibility and awareness of department productions, exhibitions, and performances. The intern will report to the Assistant to the Dean (head of the CAM marketing team) and the Graphic Design Specialist.
Required Qualifications • Minimum 3.0 GPA • Scholarship consideration within the College of Arts & Media; completed Scholarships4Kats application must be on file.
Duties and Expectations
Prepare designs on strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Create graphics for social media, digital signage, web banners, posters, postcards and more
Collaborate with CAM faculty and staff on design needs for upcoming events
Facilitate concept meetings with CAM faculty and staff
Collaborate with social media, copywriting, video, and photo interns on PR and marketing needs
Assist with college events as needed
Other projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Familiarity with social media platform design requirements, especially Instagram and Facebook
Experience designing for print and digital publications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capable of handling a fast‑paced marketing environment
Creative personality with a passion for arts and media
Other Requirements • Minimum 3.0 GPA • Eligible for scholarship contingent upon available funding. Scholarships are not guaranteed.
Hours & Pay Starting pay: $13 per hour Position begins Summer/Fall 2026; interviews in Spring/Summer 2026 Flexible schedule. Minimum 20 hours per week; may vary. Occasional nights and weekends expected.
