Responsibilities
Write blog posts, Core Leadership Lab community [CLL] highlight articles, or profiles of members/partners
Draft and edit copy for the WTL website (e.g. “About” page, resource pages, event pages)
Support in script writing for the Worthy to Lead podcast
Assist with email newsletters (drafting content, proofreading)
Conduct light research (interview prep, fact-checking, topic ideation)
Help with content calendar planning & topic brainstorming
Support SEO / metadata / tagging where applicable
Participate in editorial meetings, accept feedback and revise content
Occasionally help with community communications (e.g. announcements, internal newsletters)
Learning Objectives & Outcomes By the end of this internship, you should be able to:
Write professional content
for a real audience; blog, web copy, social media
Edit and revise
based on feedback, gaining a tighter writing process
Understand content strategy ; planning topics, aligning to audience needs
Gain experience in publishing workflows
(draft > review > publish)
Build professional collaboration & feedback process skills
Resume and linkedin site
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Current undergraduate students (Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields)
Strong writing and editing skills (samples/portfolio encouraged)
Reliable, self-motivated, and deadline-driven
Interest in leadership, coaching, and human-center design
Preferred:
Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Knowledgeable with creative platforms (canva, adobe creative cloud)
Experience with social media content creation
Basic knowledge of SEO or content management systems (like Kijabi)
You’ll receive mentorship, weekly check-ins, and feedback from [Kristiana Corona and Catalina Watson]
You’ll be given resources (style guides, past content, editorial calendar, social media calendar) to support success
This is a learning experience, so you’re not expected to know everything — we’ll help you grow
Typical schedule:
Mondays & Wednesdays 10am – 1pm, or Flexible 30 hrs/week
Duration:
12 week program schedule for 2026 (or one semester)
This role is
remote friendly , but optional in-person team meetups in San Antonio or Austin when possible and whichever is closer to the Intern.
